Engineering Overview We engineered our 26650 battery holders to secure high-capacity cylindrical cells in mission-critical power storage, industrial robotics, and medical equipment. Given the significant mass and 26mm diameter of the 26650 cell, these enclosures are injection-molded from rigid, UL 94V-0 rated High-Temp plastics (LCP or PA46). This robust housing provides absolute structural rigidity and maintains dimensional stability during aggressive wave and reflow soldering.

Contact Mechanics & Current Handling Our test data confirms that the heavy-gauge contact architecture prevents cell dislodgement and contact bounce under severe mechanical shock profiles. Precision-stamped from Phosphor Bronze or Spring Steel and finished with industrial-grade Tin or Gold plating, the terminal contacts maintain a low contact resistance (≤30mΩ). This setup eliminates oxidation risks and ensures low-loss power transmission for sustained high-drain applications over thousands of insertion cycles.
