Engineering Overview

We engineer our specialized coin cell battery holders to accommodate non-standard lithium chemistry geometries, including CR1220, CR1616, CR1620, and CR2430 architectures. Designed for compact electronic assemblies where board real estate and vertical clearance are severely constrained, these low-profile compartments are available in Through-Hole Mount (THM) and Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) configurations. The insulator bodies are injection-molded from rigid, UL 94V-0 rated liquid crystal polymer (LCP) or PA46 to guarantee complete dimensional integrity through 260°C peak reflow wave soldering.

Contact Mechanics & Reliability

Our test data confirms stable mechanical retention and continuous electrical path continuity under heavy vibration and multi-axis shock profiles. The terminal contacts are precision-stamped from high-modulus Phosphor Bronze or Spring Steel, deploying an industrial-grade Gold, Nickel, or Tin plating matrix to prevent galvanic corrosion and optimize solder joint reliability. This heavy-duty pressure profile maintains sustained low contact resistance ($\le$30m$\Omega$) across thousands of insertion cycles in critical wireless sensors and tracking modules.
